The new Village of Escaya in Otay Ranch is celebrating the completion of The Orchard Club, featuring the HARVEST wellness center. The Orchard Club features a resort pool/ lap pool combination, a separate children’s pool, cabanas, a large fire pit, lounge areas, and a 3,700-square-foot clubhouse.

“The Orchard Club and HARVEST wellness center give residents a place to play, relax, workout and feel at home in luxurious surroundings,” said Halé Richardson, director of marketing for HomeFed Corporation, the master developer of the 450-acre community.

The HARVEST wellness center is a next-gen gym and wellness center that combines state-of-the-art fitness equipment, with challenging and nurturing classes geared to serve the goals of people at all fitness levels.

Other community amenities planned to open next year include the 30,000-square-foot Village Center and an 8-acre neighborhood park. The Village Center will be home to a variety of eateries, retailers and services, as well as offering residents engaging spaces to meet, greet, and linger.

The park design includes a basketball court, space for six practice fields for soccer, an adventure playground, a picnic area and grassy outdoor amphitheater. Plans also call for a K-6 elementary school to be built adjacent to the park.

The same architectural integrity and attention to detail found in Escaya’s public realm can be found in the village’s 21 single-family detached home designs priced from the $500,000s to the $800,000s and six townhome designs priced from the low $400,000s. Floorplans range from approximately 1,287 to 3,704 square feet, ideally suited for couples, singles and families of all sizes, including multi-generational households.

When complete, Escaya will feature 992 for-sale single-family-detached homes and townhomes built by Brookfield Residential, Lennar and Shea Homes.

The Village of Escaya is located off Heritage Road between Olympic Parkway and Main Street in Chula Vista. To reach the community from I-805, take the Olympic Parkway exit, drive east, and turn right onto the new extension of Heritage Road. Continue south on Heritage for 1.5 miles, and then turn left onto Santa Maya. Follow signs to the Escaya
