The Village of Escaya in Otay Ranch is ground zero for fun every Sunday this month, as the community hosts Sunday Fundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families can enjoy bounce houses, play classic lawn games, and savor the complimentary refreshments. Prospective homebuyers can also tour Escaya’s stunning array of 27 beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed model homes by premier national homebuilders Brookfield Residential, Lennar and Shea Homes.
Design-forward floor plans include 21 single-family detached designs priced from the $500,000s to the $700,000s and six townhome designs priced from the high $300,000s. Floorplans range from approximately 1,287 to 3,704 square feet, providing ideal residences for people at every stage of life: from singles or couples starting out through multigenerational households and empty nesters.
The Village of Escaya is a close-knit Mayberry-type community designed around an 8-acre park and anchored by the Village Center for shopping and dining. The village’s extensive recreational facilities include The Orchard Club, featuring a resort-style swim club and a 3,700-square-foot entertainment space, and the Harvest Wellness Center with state-of-the art equipment, high-level programming and tranquil surroundings. Both facilities are scheduled to open in early 2019.
The planned K-6 elementary school will be located adjacent to the community park in the center of the community. Currently, The Village of Escaya is served by Wolf Canyon Elementary, Rancho del Rey Middle, and Otay Ranch High School.
“Escaya is the only new village in Otay Ranch with such a proliferation of single-family detached homes, creating a inviting, family-oriented atmosphere,” said Halé Richardson, director of marketing for HomeFed Corporation, master developer of The Village of Escaya. “The abundance of amenities, just steps from the homes, encourage residents to come together, interact casually and develop friendships.”
The Village of Escaya is located off Heritage Road between Olympic Parkway and Main Street in Chula Vista. To reach the community from I-805, take the Olympic Parkway exit, drive east, and turn right onto the new extension of Heritage Road. Continue south on Heritage for 1.5 miles, and then turn left onto Santa Maya. You will see The Village of Escaya Welcome Center on your right.
