The degradation of ethos

Where is the notification? Where is due process,? Where is  the community?

Why was a beautiful old eucalyptus tree, that provided a stable and balance open space, protecting and providing a sustainable public easement between the Interstate 805 and the residents of Chula Vista remove?

Right, it’s the 805 that needs to be protected instead of the residents having to listen to the increased noise and traffic pollution.

Oh yeah, don’t inhibit the drones surveilling us.

And, of course, let our property pay wages for the four or five crew members and tons of equipment.

That tree was a relative and it watched over my family and me for over forty-years.

It was my backyard and this is not the first time in my life, now 73 that I have had to witness this degradation  of  “The California Ethos.”
