South Coast Water Polo Club’s 12U team captured the San Diego County Spring League title with a 6-0 record following last weekend’s 13-4 finals victory against Water Dog Water Polo at Helix High School. With the win, South Coast improved to 49-0 over the past two years.
South Coast’s 14U team also finished 6-0 in league play to secure the spring championship by defeating Southern Polo 12-1.
South Coast’s 17U team claimed the San Diego County tournament title Sunday at Monte Vista High School with three wins: 11-7 over Poway, 12-6 over La Costa and 9-5 over Norse.
South Coast Water Polo will hold tryouts/signups May 27 at the Mar Vista High School pool. Tryout times are as follows: 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. (13U coed), 8:30 a.m. (boys 14-older) and 10:30 a.m. (girls 14-older).
