The city of National City is holding two webinars about the General Plan, a citywide document that guides future growth and investments, covers housing, land use, transportation, safety and other community concerns.
The General Plan was last updated in 2011. Since then new state legislation and other regional and local changes have taken place. The General Plan update will provide residents and businesses the opportunity to shape the future direction of the City in conjunction with updating the Climate Action Plan.
An evening webinar will be held March 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. and a morning webinar is scheduled for March 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Both will be held in English with live Spanish translation available and will provide the same update on project recommendations, as well as solicit public input on goal and policy recommendations.
