The dog days of summer will bring a “pawsitively” good time at Otay Ranch Town Center on July 16 from 5-7 p.m. Schedule during the Center’s regular weekly Farmer’s market, the annual “Dog Gone Fun” event is to bring the community together and have some fun with their four-legged friends. Joining the regular selection of certified farm stands, unique street foods, and handcraft items, the afternoon has activities for the entire family, including their canine members.

•Doggie Summer Costume Contest at the Popper Fountain at 6 p.m., with prizes in multiple categories from Otay Pet Vets Premier Veterinary Hospital
•Complimentary canine fitness and weight evaluation from the veterinary team of Otay
