Otay Ranch Town Center is hosting its inaugural free outdoor movies series in December for local families. All movies will be projected on a large outdoor screen in the center of the mall’s Dining Pavilion so families can bring picnic chairs, blankets, enjoy snacks and foods from the weekly Farmer’s Market or Otay Ranch Town Center dining tenants. Limited existing tables and chairs are available on a first-come, first served basis.

•Tuesday, December 19, 5:30 p.m. “Elf” (PG) Guests are encouraged to come in their favorite Ugly Holiday Sweater for the Dec. 19 showing of “Elf” to celebrate the movie’s 20th anniversary this year.
