The city of Chula Vista is accepting nominations for the Sustainability Champion Awards, an initiative of the City’s Sustainability Commission. Nominations are open for groups and individuals who have helped Chula Vista to achieve clean air, clean water, and clean land.
The Commission offers the annual awards to help celebrate local champions and inspire others to take sustainable actions in Chula Vista which will positively impact the community. More information on the City of Chula Vista’s environmental programs and services, and nomination forms can be completed and submitted at www.chulavistaca.gov/clean by 5 p.m. on March 31. Award winners will be recognized at the City Council meeting on April 26, at 5 p.m.
