The City of Chula Vista is seeking nominations for this year’s Chula Vista Sustainability Champion Awards which recognizes individuals and group efforts to improve the environment. Nominations for the awards are open to any person or group living or working in Chula Vista. This awards recognition is an initiative of the City of Chula Vista’s Sustainability Commission and recognized individuals and groups who are helping to achieve clean air, water, and land for future generations of Chula Vistans. Nominations must be submitted by March 31 by 5 p.m. Award winners will be recognized at an April City Council meeting and at the South Bay Earth Day event on April 13.
