A National City man will be released from jail on April 1 and has been ordered to pay $21,143 to victims in a grand theft and auto theft scheme.
Jonathan Elijah Pasco, 24, has served most of his 2-year sentence already with credit for 1 ½ years in jail, according to the sheriff’s department.
Pasco, a welder, is serving concurrent sentences from three separate cases filed in El Cajon Superior Court. Judge Daniel Goldstein fined him a total of $2,088 from three cases, according to records.
Pasco was ordered to pay restitution to victims of one business in Spring Valley. He pleaded guilty to three counts of grand theft in one case. Pasco pleaded guilty to stealing a van from an El Cajon man in 2016, and to receiving stolen property in another case.
He could have been sentenced to four years and four months in prison, according to court records He was ordered to stay away from the victims and one business after he’s released.
