National City has lifted its closure of tennis courts and skate parks, but restrictions remain in place.

In a Facebook update this week, the city asked that residents continue to maintain six feet physical distance from people not within the same household and to continue wearing facial coverings.

“We know you’re all excited to skate & volley again but please no high fives / shaking hands or other unnecessary physical contact,” the post stated.

Library materials can also be accessed now. They can be placed on hold and picked up outside the National City Library, Monday through Thursday from 12-7 p.m.

All other parks and amenities remained closed, including basketball courts, playgrounds, sport fields, fitness equipment and restrooms.
