Otay Ranch’s Donald Molton sped to a gold medal in the 100-meter dash at this year’s Mt. Carmel Invitational, a prestigious regional draw event, held March 26. Molton timed 11.13 in winning the Division II boys race.

Bonita Vista senior Sofia Garcia finished first in the Division II girls 3,200-meter run in 11:39.69.
Otay Ranch sophomore Alexander Law set a new school record by clearing 14 feet to win the Division II boys pole vault.
Otay Ranch senior Jon Bajet bettered his No. 2 San Diego Section mark in the boys discus throw at 154-10.
Eastlake senior Trent Warren finished second in the Division II boys 1,600 race in a career-best 4:26.12.
Mater Dei Catholic sophomore Alexandria Young cleared 5-2 to place second in the Division II girls high jump.
