On Saturday, March 23, from noon to 3 p.m. Otay Ranch Town Center shopping will host Spring Kids Fest, a celebration featuring free family-friendly activities.
Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their children to the mall for an afternoon of fun, including make-and-take crafts, face painting, music, prizes and more.
The Otay Ranch branch of the Chula Vista library, located inside the mall, will be hosting a special story time featuring a big floppy bunny at 12:30, 1 and 1:30 p.m. that day as well.
The event takes place in the food pavilion and fireplace lounge, in the center of the mall.
Activities also include a DJ spinning tunes and hosting games for families with children ages 2 to 12, spring-themed crafts and prizes.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
All activities are free. Prizes and crafts are available while supplies last.
Also on March 23, Concordia Church is hosting an Easter egg hunt from 9 a.m.to noon March 23 in the field at 1695 Discovery Falls Drive. There also will be a Bunny Run with registration beginning at 8 a.m.
