Everyone has an ego. That is the individual persona which makes them the person with the mind set, or point of view which they have. We also have a superego. The superego is a social consciousness. It informs us about what is right and wrong. That guides us in behaving in a manner which is correct, hopefully in all situations, though many of us have been know to commit a faux pas on occasion. Donald Trump has an extremely strong ego. His superego is weak. However since the president’s ego is so strong even when he commits an error, he just continues on his determined course of action as if nothing had happened. And whatever he does, or says incorrectly slips into his subconscious mind. He had to be reminded dozens of times that Obama was born in Hawaii before finally admitting it.
The libido is a overall sex drive, or desire for sexual activity. The libido can be stronger or weaker in some people. The libido remains a part of us from the onset of puberty until the day we die. It is part of our consciousness regardless of how old we are. We all lived in a society which was dominated by heterosexual males until the cultural turmoil, and the advent of women’s liberation in the 1960’s. It is only recently that we have allowed all of the buried feelings which we have had trapped inside us to come to the forefront. Let it all hang out baby. Now that sexes are equal women feel free to say everything that men have done to them even though the transgressions have often occurred decades ago. Mind your p’s and q’s everyone. No matter what you say or do in public, your behavior must be impeccable in our brave new world. No more command and control governments. We all matter.
