Dia de los Muertos at Otay Ranch Town Center

Otay Ranch Town Center is inviting residents to honor the memory of loved ones during the annual Dia De Los Muertos commemoration by placing a flower with their name on a community Ofrenda (alter) from Oct. 27 through Nov. 2. The large, public Ofrenda will be placed in front of the dining pavilion area near the Popper Fountain. Guests can place a loved one’s name on a paper carnation style flower to honor their memory. Flowers will remain on the altar until it is removed Nov. 3. In tandem, the Center is bringing back its Las Jefas Market on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the center’s Main Street. The Dia De Los Muertos themed market will feature a curated variety of artisans, food vendors, and creatives, with live music from 1-3 p.m.
