Miracle Babies, a non-profit organization whose mission is to unite families with their critically ill newborn babies in neonatal intensive care units, is hosting another drive-through diaper distribution event at National City Library on Jan. 29. Free diapers will be available to registered families from 9-11 a.m., then open to the public from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Menstrual supply products, library activity kits, and Infantino baby carriers will also be distributed at the drive on a limited basis. Additionally, car seat safety inspections will also be available courtesy of American Medical Response on a limited basis. As with previous drives, members of the San Diego Sci-Fi Coalition will turn up in Superhero gear to entertain families as they remain in their cars and drive through the site.
Miracle Babies began hosting drive-through diaper distributions in May 2020 and has now distributed over one million diapers since the start of the pandemic. Attendees are asked to wear a mask. Anyone who is feeling sick, has a fever or has been recently exposed to COVID is asked to remain at home. Visit www.miraclebabies.org to register for the event or for more information.
