The second annual Chula Vista ArtFest is taking place on Saturday, Aug. 10 from noon to 6 p.m. at the City Hall Complex, and the city is currently seeking artists and vendors to participate.
Chula Vista ArtFest is a free-to-attend community event designed to celebrate the diversity and talent of local artists in Chula Vista and the South Bay. This year’s event will include an arts and crafts market, art showcase, live music, interactive art, live painting, food trucks, and more.
Artists can apply either as vendors to sell works at the arts and crafts market, or as exhibitors to display their pieces at the event’s art showcase. The art showcase is a curated exhibition that will take place during the event. Painters, sketch artists, cartoonists, photographers, ceramicists, muralists, and other artists who create 2D and 3D art are welcome to apply for ArtFest as vendors or art showcase exhibitors. There is no charge to artists selected for the art showcase. Vendor booths are available for $50 each. Space is limited and applications will be taken until capacity is reached. To apply, go to https://cvartfest.com/.
