California District 42 Little League’s annual Tournament of Champions is set to tee off Monday, June 22, in four age divisions: 6-under, 8-under, Minor and Major. Title games in all divisions are scheduled June 30 at Imperial Beach Little League.
Teams will play two preliminary games June 22-27. The top four-seeded teams advance to single-elimination semifinal match-ups on June 28.
The 6U division features a seven-team round-robin format. Participating teams include Southwest, South Bay, Sweetwater Valley, Chula Vista American, Chula Vista National, Eastlake and Park View.
The 8U, Minor League and Major League divisions feature a nine-team modified round-robin format. The top four-seeded teams advance to single-elimination semifinal match-ups on June 28. The two semifinal winners advance to the division championship game June 30 at Imperial Beach Little League.
The 8U division lineup includes Park View, Chula Vista American, Eastlake, Chula Vista National, South Bay, Imperial Beach, Sweetwater Valley, Southwest and Luckie Waller.
The Minor League lineup includes Chula Vista National, Park View, South Bay, Southwest, Sweetwater Valley, Chula Vista American, Imperial Beach, Luckie Waller and Eastlake.
The Major League lineup includes Southwest, Chula Vista National, Sweetwater Valley, Eastlake, Chula Vista American, Imperial Beach, Park View, Luckie Waller and South Bay.

JUNIOR LEAGUE:
The Luckie Waller/South Bay Brewers defeated the Eastlake Yankees, 10-0, on June 13 to capture this year’s District 42 Junior League tournament title. The Brewers defeated the Eastlake Padres, 7-4, in their first tournament game on June 10. The Yankees defeated the Luckie Waller/South Bay Orioles, 8-3, on June 9 to advance to meet the Eastlake Rangers in another single-elimination game on June 11. The Yankees edged the Rangers, 8-7, to advance to the tournament final.
