I find it so interesting and sad how blind are many on the left. Deuel Woodward has made it clear over the years that he is on the left. That’s fine. He has every right to be. However, his skewed view came through particularly in his subject letter, from 11/29.
He speaks of potential prosecutions of Democrats on charges This is but one example of many other scenarios at may sometimes be insubstantial. Umm, what about the same that has been done to Republicans over the last four years through the weaponization of the DoJ?
Then he goes on to say that little attention will be paid to freedom of speech in the coming administration. Seriously? What has the left been doing for many years, especially the last four through Twitter, Facebook, the mainstream media, through regulatory mis-enforcement, and other methods? Highly qualified, well respected doctors and scientists were persecuted throughout the pandemic because they had views and approaches that weren’t accepted by those in power. The vast majority have since been proven right. This is but ONE example of differing views being squelched by the MSM or by social media platforms, under the guise of fact checkers.
I believe that all views should be heard. We are big boys and girls and can judge for ourselves what we accept or not. We don’t need babysitters. Free speech is NOT free if all voices are not heard and allowed. I don’t care the party, either most allow open and truly free speech.
Mr. Woodward would do well to objectively look at his side and see how inaccurate his views of his own side are.
