Right next door to her sister business, Mujer Divina Burrito and Coffee House, Owner and Chef Priscilla Curiel is thrilled to soon welcome guests to explore the authentic flavors at Tuetano Taqueria. Scheduled to open later this year, the upcoming taqueria will fully celebrate its standout menu offering: birria. Made with high quality beef and chiles secos as well as housemade adobo, their birria has been drawing guests from all over to try out the savory meats. Along with their famous birria, Tuetano Taqueria will also feature other Mexican classics like tortas, tacos, and more.

Cheers to the new brewery in town! Born out of a collective passion for great beer and meaningful connections, Resident Brewing fits right in through its inviting atmosphere for friends, neighbors and fellow beer enthusiasts along with refreshing brews. Their wide selection of beers is as varied and unique as the people in San Diego, with each brew celebrating the local characters of the city. Whether you’re a brew fanatic or looking to dabble in some hoppy-ness, Resident Brewing should be on your list!

East Village’s beloved pizza joint, TNT Pizza is opening its second location in Downtown Chula Vista! TNT, short for Thick’n Thin, will soon be serving a diverse range of quality-made pizzas to the South Bay locals. Among the offerings are the fan-favorite one-inch-high Detroit pizza and the New York-style pizza, available both by the slice and as whole pies. Additionally, patrons can indulge in alternatives such as the medium-thick grandma pan pizza and an ultra-thin tavern style. The Downtown Chula Vista location will offer a larger menu than its East Village counterpart, with an expansive variety of pizza toppings and other delicious bites such as appetizers and sandwiches.

Looking for a healthy but satisfying bite? New to the block is Galu Café, a café and delicatessen with high-quality craft brews, teas, and a delicious selection of toast, pastries, and sandwiches to get you ready for the day ahead. Put up your feet and cool down with their Citrus Refresher while digging into their Reuben Sando or get cozy with their Grilled Cheese with roasted garlic aioli and homemade Tomato Soup. Feel good while fueling up with their healthy, hearty bites this summer!
