The annual Hilltop softball tournament wraps up with championship playoffs on Saturday, March 26, at Hilltop High School.
Hilltop, Otay Ranch, Bonita Vista and Olympian all finished 2-1 in pool play to qualify for the opening quarterfinals.
In quarterfinal action involving Metro Conference teams, Hilltop and Otay Ranch will pair up while Bonita Vista and Olympian will pair up in games at 9 a.m.
Other quarterfinals, set for 11 a.m., match Clairemont versus Imperial and Steele Canyon versus Santana.
The semifinals are scheduled at 1 p.m. The championship game is set for 3 p.m.

Championship Game Highlights
Brittany Mendoza stroked two doubles and drove in three runs to help lead Bonita Vista past Clairemont, 6-0, to capture the championship title of this year’s Hilltop tournament. Mia Marinakis went the distance in the pitching circle to pick up the win, striking out seven batters and allowing three hits.
